What's Hot: Best fighting game currently available for next-gen systems
What's Not: Initial 15-minute software install; Upcoming 360 version may support online play
The customization screens are also feeding the addiction -- especially for completionists or those who just like to play dress-'em-up with their fighters -- as you can tweak the appearance of fighters with items that they've won or with stuff they can buy with earned dough.
While the past 800 words or so have been nothing but glowing, there is something that steals some of the thunder from this very strong PS3 release. While the Quest mode does an incredible job of simulating a multiplayer experience -- and you can always take on a buddy head-to-head in Versus mode -- the word is that a late-summer Xbox 360 version of the game will support online play.
