Fielding, hitting and, best of all, baserunning have all been tweaked in MLB 2K8. Digging around in Franchise mode uncovers a bevy of minor league teams -- a first for the series. Glitches from last year have been fixed, and MLB 2K8 relies on the right analog stick for infield throws. After fielding the ball, simply push -- then release -- the stick towards first base. No, it’s not revolutionary, but it is indicative of the small yet significant gameplay tweaks 2K has made this year.
