BioWare returns to the fantasy RPG in this, the purported spiritual child of the Baldur's Gate series. With the AD&D trappings gone, the fantasy moves to darker, more realistic (likely to mean that everyone is just more pissed-off) terrain. As a character whose backstory you shape in the beginning of the game, you direct up to three companions in pause-and-play tactical battles.
