This first-person action game lets you step into the shoes of Sareth, a wizard's apprentice. The clever (or annoying, depending on your mood) twist here is that enemies cannot be attacked head-on à la Halo. Correction: You can attack them head-on, but you will usually be killed in doing so. Instead, keep an eye out for scripted traps that help you, say, boot enemies off cliffs into spike-bottomed chasms, etc. In the mood for company? Try the game's Battlefield-derived multiplayer.
