Game Info: Borderlands

Gearbox Software's upcoming first-person shooter takes place on a distant planet. Sounds banal, right? How's this for a twist: After the initial "gold rush" period, the colonists soon realize that this new world actually has little to offer. Those with enough money head back to Earth, leaving the poor and the damned behind to fight over the scraps. Lawlessness abounds. Still sound banal? Then try this: Things get worse -- much worse -- when alien creatures emerge from hibernation.
