The 12 Things That Truly Scare Us

It's scary season again, and that's when the Crispy staff turns out the lights and whispers the truly terrifying. Here are some of the things you might hear if you're crawling around in our air ducts.

This is the first piece of writing from Scott in which I have ever seen a typo. At least we know he's human. It puts me at ease because no non-robot could write as well as he does.

(typos in question)"...new tackling animations andartificial intelligence..."
"Trying looking at your 401k..."

Anyways, your writing is superb Scott. Don't be surprised if I send you a thesis to be proofread.

Typos fixed. Thanks for pointing them out.

And actually, Jones is not a robot. He is a Transformer. He hates the term robot.

The truly terrifying thing about number 11 is that season ending injuries to superstars in the NFL would double, assuming there were different players on the covers of 09 and 09 ½.

Dear EA: Please do not put Brandon Jacobs or Eli Manning on the cover of this game. Ever. Thanks.

That's pretty funny. I like the jab at "Alone in the Dark". I actually have fond memories of that game sans the fact that the final puzzle in the game is broken and can't be completed. I think I called into their "Automated hint line" like 4 times just to make sure I was doing it right. It wasn't till years later as a QA tester that I realized that game was just broken.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
