Bowl 17: Prey
(Video capture: Jason McMaster)

The pooptacular high-res bowl from Prey features one of the poorest displays of rectal-aiming in gaming history. The previous visitor to this bowl clearly needs to have a new targeting system installed in his butt. Maybe this is developer 2K's sly way of foreshadowing those giant alien rectums you encounter later on in the game.

    @ScottJones:

    I'm pretty proud of them as well. Some of them make me laugh harder than I should, for sure.

    You know, I've been looking at these toilets for a month now, and they still make me laugh.

    Every time.

    Maybe I'm an easy touch.

    @GusMastrapa:

    Even if his name was Tommy Hawk, I agree.

    And the music was great in this game. Love BOC and was thrilled when Don't Fear the Reaper came on in the bar.

    @CG-Prophet:

    This got brought up during the podcast. Neat game before Portal, not so clever afterwards. Great use of music through. And games that star non-whites in the lead role are always a nice change of pace so points there.

    The portal tech in the game was interesting and the whole spirit walking thing, but the actual game was middling.

    Cool concept for a game, but if you can't punch the bowl I'm not interested.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
