Spore, the evolution-based game from Will Wright (the genius behind The Sims) gives you a similar experience without having to swab the inside of your cheek. Fittingly, the first level starts with players controlling a single-celled organism -- so you can consider all that staring at slides as prep for maturing a super-intelligent civilization in this masterpiece.

Mirror's Edge, the first-person free-running action game in which players control a nimble courier named Faith. You may not be able to link together jumps, slides and swings in real life as seamlessly as Faith does in the game, but you can lace up the same kind of styling footwear that helps keep her a step ahead of the city's oppressive cops. Just don't try jumping onto a helicopter anytime soon.
