@EvanNarcisse: I didn't overlay any music, but some of the YouTube kids did. I think 8-bit is becoming more and more normalized in terms of how we hear it. It's less a retro novelty and more another instrument. I'm all for it!

Ryan!! I loved this! I especially liked how the various musical styles (both in-game and overlaid, right?) created a weird tension. Going from that loud symphonic riff to the quiet, puny 8-bit sounds of Super Mario Bros. made me laugh.We should make a contest for readers to guess every game in the clip, eh?
