Scott Johnson, you are a comical genius. I seriously LOL'd on this one. Very very awesome.

Maybe I should pick this up. It's only $20. I was kind of turned off by the cartoonish graphics combined with the dark voice over and ominous music. Just didn't seem to match.

I ended up buying this game after playing the demo almost entirely because of the music.

Curse you!I read this comic, thought to myself, "I like Diablo and look, you can buy it and download it online!" So I did.Five hours later my ass hurts and I have a migraine. -_- Life imitates art.

Piracy is bad m'kay? Bobby Kotick isn't making money off this so it has my full support.

I'm so cheap I can't bring myself to spend $20 on it......

"Never could fall into Fate that far." that almost sounds deep.I was not a huge fan of the Diablo games. They were fun enough but I never got into the dungeon crawl games that much. Played this for a few hours and it was fun enough. Colorful anyways.

@Tesko: Sounds good. I'm a big nut for hack 'n slash. Some of my favorite games are Diablo, Baldur's Gate: Dark Aliance /2 for consoles, EverQuest: Champions of Norrath /2 for PS2, and Titan Quest for PC. Will have to give this a better look over then.

@PunkrawkBbob: I adore this game. It was actually made by the people who made Diablo I & II and the main guy behind Fate. The game is more like Fate than Diablo (particularly in terms of art style and your pet), but I enjoy Torchlight MUCH more than I did Fate. I wasn't immediately blown away by the game, but the more I play it the more I like it. The level design is great. They created large chunks of dungeons which are then randomly placed put together. This gives lets them do things like build anticipation for a boss battle and add neat little scripted events. Also the character classes provide small twists on the genre standards and I think there is more variety in loot than Diablo II. If you're a fan of dungeon crawlers, then you should definitely try Torchlight.

It definitely is in the style of Diablo, I've played it a bit, it's not too bad so far. Just have to get back into that old school mindstate. I'm a sucker for rendomized loot stats.

I am digging it! Fun fun fun!

Is this game really supposed to be this fun? It looked a lot like Fate to me. Never could fall into Fate that far.
