Status: Bubble Tea: I know the fad is over. I don't care.

 Kyle Orland
Kyle Orland: Title Defense Mode is MASOCHISM man. Good luck.

The new Magic: The Gathering Xbox Live game has reawakened by collectible card game addiction. At least there's no option to purchase new digital cards... I don't think I'd be able to resist.

Also probably gonna try a bit more Knights in the Nightmare after playing an enjoyable hour for lunch this week. And the Rock Band will probably come out at a friend's BBQ. Here's hoping he doesn't hog the drums this time.

Harold Goldberg
Harold Goldberg: I'm dusting off Shawn White Snowboarding since Shawn is coming by the house to play the new game later in the month, and I better beat him (or put up a good fight). I'm back to some Killzone 2 multiplayer as I'm trying to figure out whether to put Hermen and his Amsterdam crew in the history book. I'm playing

Evan Narcisse
Evan Narcisse:
Fight Night Round 4 has its hooks deep into me and it ain't letting go. I'll be trying out an upcoming superhero game for review. Expectations are low, but I'm open to being surprised. There might be some Overlord II in my weekend as well, since Jones and Teti have both been raving about it so much.

James Fudge
James Fudge: I'm going to try my hand at a little Call of Juarez on the PC and even though it wasn't my choice, I'll probably buy StarTropics so I can run my mouth in the Crispy Adventurers Club forum thread. I still think Zelda II is a better game and greatly appreciated, but the point of the club is to try new experiences and talk about them.

I actually didn't play any Fallout. I'm completely hooked on my iPod. I played Edge, GeoDefense, Eliss, Zen Bound, Isotope. The density of cheap, off-beat, and compulsive stuff here is at least five times the amount on the DS and XBLA.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
