Mind the claws there buddy!
ESRB Rating: M-Mature
Left 4 Dead
This means 17+ and, as an expert in the field, I stand behind the ESRB's ratings for the most part. I think you can bend the rules a little for mature kids, and kids already enjoying the dubious pleasures of zombie movies probably won't be upset by Valve's landmark
Left 4 Dead. With four-player co-op gameplay, everyone must work together to survive; being a jerk or a rogue just means a quicker death. The game is incredibly gory and wickedly intense, but for mature gamers it just can't be beat. I know that if my kids were in college we'd be fighting the horde together -- that's what's fun about being a GamerDad: watching your kids move from game to game until they're playing with you.
GamerDad Family Game of the Year
Wii Fit
I'll allow that the price is high (not too high for what you're getting, but more than most videogames). But the program really works. My kids are learning yoga, my wife is losing weight, I'm using it to rehabilitate my heart after last year's surgery, and everyone who comes over to check it out looks funny doing the hula hoop.
Have a great time shopping!
