You know that you could have gotten that headshot - if only you didn't have to share your flat screen with your three roommates. Well, now you can reclaim that visual real estate, while still PWNing your buddies.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The Games

Team ICO Collection Listed By Walmart

As seen here, Walmart is currently taking reserves for the unannounced ICO / Shadow of the Colossus bundle for the PS3. They list the game for $39.82 with an April 1, 2011 release date - possibly a placeholder spring release date, though it's too early to tell.

Castle Crashers Still Great On PS3

in

When my XBOX 360 bricked two years ago I thought I'd never get the opportunity to play the full version of Castle Crashers. Once it was fixed, I wanted to finish Fallout 3 (the system had to be repaired 30 hours into the game) and with so many new and old games to play I never got around to the delightful flash game-like side-scroller slash-em-up, especially after my 360 died again last Winter out of warranty - almost exactly one year after it was fixed.

Review: Burn Zombie Burn

Subtitle:
With a name like Burn Zombie Burn, what’s not to like?
thumbnail_summary:

There’s a school of thought in gaming, whose proponents claim that a little thing like bad controls shouldn’t ruin a game’s reputation. I am not one of those people. The PS3 game Lair may have been an amazing game, but the god awful control scheme made it a shitty game, and though it saddens me to do so, I considered it bad enough that pregnant women should be advised to avoid it. Burn Zombie Burn (BZB) is almost one of those games. However instead of being painful, its flaws are merely annoying.

Review: Earthworm Jim HD

Subtitle:
Cows and Toilets and Boogers, oh my!
thumbnail_summary:

Earthworm Jim HD is a remake of the old 1994 Sega Genesis classic and harkens back to the days of old school platform games. In June, X-Box Live Arcade was the first to see the release of this title, followed by PSN early this August. Earthworm Jim HD is basically the same game with a new graphics engine and a few new features such as multiplayer co-op, 3 new levels, and (my favorite) the ability to pick which of the levels you want to play though. Aside from the new coat of paint and the additions, Earthworm Jim HD is pretty much the same game you played when you were younger, for better or for worse. For the young gamers out there who are picking up this title for the first time, play it on the “original” difficulty if you want to see why older gamers are always complaining about how easy and dumbed down games are these days.

First Shot: Madden 11

In a summer where Madden saw its first legitimate challenger in what feels like half a decade, it was my expectation that EA Sports would go all out when it came to this year’s football sim.

Unlock Zombie Survival Mode in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game

in
ScottPilgrimZombies

To unlock Zombie Survival Mode in this summer's hottest side scroller beat-em-up, hit down, up, right, down, up right, down, up, right, right, right from the start menu.

You'll be prompted to choose a character and difficulty, though the difficulty is largely dependent on how you've built up your character's stats and their level. I wouldn't recommend going into it without working on your stats first.

Review: Clash of the Titans

Subtitle:
Didn't Kratos kill all the Greek gods?
thumbnail_summary:

I really wanted to love Clash of the Titans. Looking at trailers beforehand, I saw a hack n’ slash title that clearly borrowed ideas from God of War, added more weapons and more enemies from Greek Mythology. However, it’s generally not a good sign when a movie tie-in game misses the movie’s release date. It’s also not a good sign when the game releases late and there are still numerous rough edges that should have been addressed by the Game Republic team.
