Few people know this, but during CG's early days, Managing Editor Elise Vogel and I travelled all the way to Hollywood, Florida to the flagship of Billy's Mitchell's restaurant chain, Rickey's World Famous.

We nibbled on the chicken wings. We sampled the hot sauces. We drank about a hundred Cokes. We kept our eyes peeled for Mitchell, the Fonzie of the gaming world.

I don't know about Vogel, but I still have Nam-style flashbacks to this culinary equivalent of Mr. Do's Wild Ride. If I close my eyes and inhale deeply enough, I can still smell the heady bleach-regurgitated Schlitz-Final Net aroma of Billy's gut-busting pitstop
