Vitals: 49, married, two kids (12 and 14)
Education: Double-major in Radio/TV/Film Communications from University of Central Florida, minor in Journalism. Also a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Florida.
Publications: Editorial Director of GameSpy for seven and a half years. Ran a Total Annihilation fan site (TAMEC) for almost three years before moving to GameSpy. Also worked for the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel newspaper for 12 years and the Florida Today newspaper for five years.
Platforms played: PC and Wii. I'm incredibly bad at Xbox and PlayStation because I never mastered the dexterity for all the sticks and buttons and triggers. I got a DS, a PSP and an iTouch for Christmas.
Genres played: RPG, MMORPG, RTS, turn-based strategy, submarine simulations. Some action games such as
Half-Life 2 and
DOOM, but I'm not a very good twitch player.
Multiplayer or single-player: Single-player and maybe co-op. I play against my son on the Wii. He's 12.

Yeah, yeah, I can't count. And, despite my affinity for Blizzard and BioWare, I am not a fan of
StarCraft or
Jade Empire.
What makes me tick: Caffeine, Pepsi, baseball and my kids.
