Mark October 10 and 11, 2008 on your calendar and book your flight to Anaheim, California now, because Blizzard Entertainment plans to host its third BlizzCon gaming convention at the aforementioned date and location. This year's BlizzCon is to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on October 10 and 11 to celebrate all things Blizzard related. This year's event has also been expanded from two convention halls to three to accommodate even more attendees without pissing off the local Fire Marshall.

BlizzCon will offer a wide variety of activities including hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard games, discussion panels with Blizzard developers, competitive and casual tournaments, areas and activities devoted to licensed products, a variety of fan contests (costume, machinima, and character sound-alike contests) with great prizes, special commemorative merchandise based on various franchises, a silent auction and more activities to be determined.
