Vitals: 30, going on 17
Publications: Author/co-author of three free-to-download books: Get Rich Playing Games (www.getrichgaming.com), Videogame Marketing and PR (www.sellmorevideogames.com) and The Videogame Style Guide and Reference Manual (www.gamestyleguide.com). Has written for over 300+ outlets from the Los Angeles/New York Times to Playboy, Rolling Stone, TV Guide, USA Today and virtually every gaming publication. Makes regular guest appearances on multiple TV networks from CNN to ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Star of his own pseudo-reality show 'I Fought the Wife, and the Wife Won.'
Platforms played: PC, Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP and Xbox 360. Plans to add PlayStation 3 to the list as soon as a platform-exclusive game that piques his interest appears, or any modern-day title can finally top the experience of playing childhood classics in DOSBox.
Genres played: Action, adventure, puzzle, RPG, turn-based strategy -- sorry, whippersnappers, he harkens back to the days when games were either short and sweet or required inordinate amounts of brainpower and devotion. Hypocrisy, thy name is old-school addiction.
Multiplayer or single-player: Single-player -- the computer gets less pissy when I salvage a losing game by powering down or hitting restart.
